Why did a headline get flagged with the wrong sentiment color?
The extension uses efficient literal text-matching rules based directly on the text keyword you define in Settings. It does not look at overall contextual logic, meaning sarcastic remarks or complex financial expressions might log incorrectly at first. This is why reviewing entries manually and correcting scores inside the sidebar is a vital step in maintaining your journal's historical value.
Is my trading journal private?
Completely. We don't host external processing clouds, database layers, or tracking trackers. Your watchlists, entry text, and manually input asset prices never leave your physical browser workspace.
Can I extract my data out of the system?
Yes. You can instantly export your compiled research into standard spreadsheet-friendly CSV tables at any point from the Settings screen.
Does this work on all financial websites?
The extension is designed to be site-agnostic. As long as the news content is displayed as text on a webpage, the extension can monitor it.Some website are complex to parse and may not be detected by engine .In those case right click and manual option can be used.
What if the extension stops tracking?
